Taggart - Death Without Dishonour Set

Taggart volume 9 - still no subtitles, longer length tends to drag episodes.
This is volume 9 of the original series.
The proper sequence to view these sets is:
1) KILLER set
2) DEATH CALL set
3) COLD BLOOD set
4) ROOT OF EVIL set
5) EVIL EYE set
6) VIOLENT DELIGHTS set
7) THE HIT MAN set
8) RING OF DECEIT set
9) DEATH WITHOUT DISHONOUR set
10) HELLFIRE set
11) PRAYER FOR THE DEAD set (the last Jim Taggart episode)

This set from "series 9" contains extended length episodes running well over 2 hours. Unfortunately this longer length tends to drag some of the episodes down.
"GINGERBREAD" 2 hours & 7 minutes (1993) - This is a story you would expect to see in MIDSOMER MURDERS, full of quirky characters, gingerbread houses & fairytell like settings. This would have been a wonderful episode at 90 minutes, but the added 37 minutes is padded out with personal love relationships of the inspectors that bring the detective work to a halt.
"DEATH WITHOUT DISHONOUR" 2 hours & 9 minutes (1993)...

Great BBC dvd mystery play.
Set in Glasgow, Harriet Buchan plays the wheel-chair bound wife of the detective, Taggart. I met her recently with Wildquest, swimming with wild dolphins in Bimini and couldn't remember where I had seen her, until I returned home and Googled her name. Great acting!

Gilmore Girls: The Complete Third Season

The "Gilmore Girls" get to realize their dreams in Season 3
The third season of "Gilmore Girls" offers a lot of ups and down for Lorelai and Rory, not to mention pretty much everybody else at Stars Hollow or Chilton. I was prepared to declare that this was my least favorite season of the series because I did not like Jess and I though Rory's choice to ditch Dean for Jess was the lost of the innocence that made the character so endearing in the first place. Then I took into account that "Gilmore Girls" airs on the WB and from Felicity choosing Ben over Noel and Joey picking Pacey over Dawson I have been nothing but disappointed with the romantic choices of their ingénues. Buffy chose Angel and then she ended up killing him. If Lorelai and Luke do not end up happily ever after I might be compelled to give up on the show (consider this fair warning, WB), but if Rory could dump Dean I knew Jess could never go the distance and I could take heart in that fact.

What defines this third season for Lorelai and Rory are not the men...

Third Time's The Charm
I don't know what it is about the third seasons of my all time favorite television shows. Their third years always seem to be one of their best, if not THE best, season of the series. And this one is no exception. By this time, Gilmore Girls has grown to be one of the more accomplished, sophisticated, witty, clever, and intelligent pieces of work on television. I am constantly amazed with every episode with the magnitude of clever writing, humor, and top of the line acting. Amy Sherman-Palladino is a writer/director of immense talent, and I am still thrilled to this day that she has given us the wonderful gift of the girls. Season 3 is, in my opinion, the best season of the show yet. Filled with the colorful characters and stories that have cemented the series' reputation, season 3 delivers in all areas. Season 3 contains many of the show's top best episodes to date. The season starts off with "Those Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days", a sunny opener. Rory's college future is first taken on in...

Just Keeps Getting Better With Each New Season
The third season of "Gilmore Girls" is probably the most perfectly realized year of the series yet released on DVD. Okay, Lorelai (the amazing and totally hot Lauren Graham) maybe isn't as prominently featured as we would like, but her relationship with Luke keeps deepening in preparation for its full flowering this year in season 5. Season 3 has lots of action for Rory (the terrific Alexis Bledel): academic pressure during her senior year at Chilton; first friends, then enemies, then friends again with the hilariously nasty Paris (the great Liza Weil) and her airhead flunkies Madeline and Louise; the traumatic dance-marathon break-up with Dean and subsequent stormy relationship with that little punk Jess.

The season kicks off with probably my favorite two Gilmore moments, at the beginning and at the end of the episode "Those Lazy-Crazy-Hazy Days": Lorelai's dream that she is pregnant with Luke's twins, and their reconciliation in a deserted Luke's diner at the climax...

Saving Grace: Season Two

Saving Grace Season 2
Oklahoma City detective Grace Hanadarko is never much of one for the straight-and-narrow. She is frequently forced to balance her personal issues with smoking, drinking, and sex with difficulties between her family and friends, her high-stress job in law enforcement -- and not to mention her interactions with an angel named "Earl" who has been sent by God to convince Grace to turn away from her evil ways to God. Grace may be on the road to hell, but, with Earl's spiritual guidance, she may be able to save herself.

Saving Grace: Season 2 follows the continued adventures of Grace as she deals with her turbulent relationship with fellow detective Ham, her friends' Doug and Maggie's impending wedding, the ever-present fear of death for Grace's friend Leon, the day-to-day drama of working with homicides, the constantly lurking memory of the 1993 Oklahoma City bombing and of course, Grace's journey through faith. While just as intense as the first season, Season Two builds on the...

"Saving Grace" Worth Having... and Saving
At this writing (Late July 2008), the second season of "Saving Grace" has just started, so it's impossible to know in advance how good it will be. But based on the slam-bam Season Two Season Premiere episode, it is going to be every bit as excellent. And if it's only half as good as Season One? It will still be a series better than almost anything else written for adults.

If you don't like police dramas, watch it anyway for the riveting performances by two fantastic female actors: Holly Hunter, and Laura San Giacomo.

WARNING: There was plenty of nudity in Season One, and Season Two will likely have its share. This series is not for Under 17 or so. Your actual child's maturity may vary.

absolutely amazing
Hi..
I can ofcourse only speak for myself, but if anyone reads my text, i can most definitely and honestly say that, Saving Grace season 2 is worth watching.

I can't wait to get my hands on next season.
I know the show is a few years old, but it still got it!

I live in Copenhagen Denmark, so it takes a little while before i receive my items, in contrast to you guys in the United States of America.
Who probably can buy this in any videostore at low cost.

But i don't care, im more than satisfied, cause the people behind Amazon.com are wonderful.

please trust me, this is a true message from a happy customer.

Taggart - Prayer for the Dead Set

One of a kind.
There can be little doubt that the acting of Mark McManus and the stark reality of the city of Glasgow provide an ideal background to these murder mysteries.
I have collected thus far most of the series where he gives a riveting portrayal of a tough and unrelenting police officer. Thoroughly recommended.

Taggart: Prayer for the Dead
The whole series of Taggart is great -- each long enough to fully develop a story, with lots of "red herrings"! I wish, however, that the series (with Mark McManus et al) was identified chronologically -- this one, for instance, is the LAST in the series starring McManus, and I didn't know this when I ordered it, and watched it. The sleeve is dated, but you don't know the dates until you've bought it. Air Date should be in Amazon description.

Taggart volume 11 - still no subtitles
This is volume 11 of the original series.
The proper sequence to view these sets is:
1) KILLER set
2) DEATH CALL set
3) COLD BLOOD set
4) ROOT OF EVIL set
5) EVIL EYE set
6) VIOLENT DELIGHTS set
7) THE HIT MAN set
8) RING OF DECEIT set
9) DEATH WITHOUT DISHONOUR set
10) HELLFIRE set
11) PRAYER FOR THE DEAD set (the last Jim Taggart episode)

I felt a bit cheated with this 2-episode set, BFS is charging the same list price, but giving you only 2/3 of what is on the other sets.
On top of that, DCI Taggart is only in one of the episodes. If you have not seen this series and want to try it out, i would suggest sets 6 through 10 in the above list instead of this set.
This is the "swan song" set for DCI Taggart, you feel the emptiness left by his death.
I guess BFS did not want to start releasing the next phase of the series and bring this set up to 3 episodes.

Again, there are no subtitles to...

Tyler Perry's House of Payne, Vol. 4

none stop laughing out loud
THIS IS A GREAT PICK-ME UP SERIES. THE SITUATION ARE SO FOCUS ON EVERY DAY EVENTS WITH A BIG BOOST OF LAUGHTER. I LOVE IT!

Great Series!
This is a great series and the Season DVD's are very worth it. To some people the show may seem a little bit unbelieveable. Examples(Mother becomes addicted to drugs and some of the crazy things that the kids get into.) I won't go into further detail, so that I won't spoil things too bad. It is a TV show though! So some of the things are going to be un-real, but it really is a great show. Great for anyone to watch and especially for families. I would recommend this show to anyone!

Funny
I think House Of Payne 4 was the best of all. Great Stories and more humour and has not lost its message.
Great ending to the series.

One Tree Hill: The Complete Fifth Season

The Great Leap Forward
I have been an avid viewer of "One Tree Hill" since the very first episode. I started watching the show as a replacement to the great "Dawson's Creek" (which ended several months prior to the release of Tree Hill), but I wasn't hooked for almost the entire first season. But then in the second season the writing got sharper (and franky more "out there,") the cast gelled together, and the rest is more or less television history. But to be perfectly honest this show should not have been the hit that it has become. But there is just something about watching these 6 teenagers live out the lives of adult, while the amazing dialogue that captures people and refuses to let go.

As a DVD reviewer once said: "High School Dramas are not made for high schoolers, they are made for the people that didn't have the high school experience they wanted." And "One Tree Hill" is the epoch of this discussion. And this is what makes the fifth season so special. After focusing on the groups...

Great Season
A new viewer to Tree Hill; wasn't expecting much from a teen drama, but the show has a great heart, especially the episode 9 titled "For Tonight, You're only here to know", the performance by Michaela McManus and Hilarie Burton was exceptional. This is by far the best episode all season.

The fifth season is also better than the fourth. The actors actually get to play character that resemble their own age group though James Lafferty still looks like a teenager. The overall performances of the cast explains why the show has been renewed for a sixth season and hopefully many more.

Not The Best of Tree Hill, But Still Pretty Darn Good
I only recently started watching One Tree Hill, I did a season a month beginning in September leading up to the fifth season premiere in January (which actually worked quite nicely for me and for the show since it was at one time one of the few shows airing new episodes during the writers strike). This was one of the few of my favorite shows that were coming back this season after many were cancelled last year (Gilmore Girls, The O.C, Veronica Mars, and many more) so I was thrilled to find out there would be a fifth and sixth season.

I actually really enjoyed this season. It was still probably my second to last favorite season (second season was my least favorite season) just because there was no more high school drama (which I enjoyed), only 18 episodes, and a lot of the characters only appeared a few times throughout the season (Karen, Rachel, Deb, Coach Durham, Chase, and Andy). Meeting the new characters in this season was great though, especially Jamie (Hayley and...

Kickboxer [Blu-ray]

Kickboxer: Van Damme learns his craft
Jean-Claude Van Damme will never be confused for anything other than what he is: a martial arts actor whose acting abilities are less important than his high-kicking ones. This is not a bad thing either. He is probably one of the two or three best action stars now working, and his legions of fans appreciate his style. In KICKBOXER, he reveals in one movie the best and worst of what he is capable. He plays Sloan, an American fighter whose brother is crippled by the savagery of the Thai champion, Tong Po, played by Van Damme's real life friend Michel Quissi, who stars in many of his other films. What the viewer sees is your basic get-revenge-on-the-dude-who-hurt-my-brother movie.
Van Damme closes with s stirring victory over a very tough and, in his own way, a colorful foe. Van Damme's strengths include his good looks, athletic ability, martial arts expertise, and even some boog-a-looing disco dancing. What he adds to this is a sense to the audience of breathless expectation...

Martial-Arts fans wake up!
Everybody in search of a good story or anything else that would normally make this title worth a look: Go away! This is for Martial-Arts fans only! But if you like the old fashioned "good guy gets trained by wise old master to kick the butt of the bad guy"-movie Type: Go ahead! Buy this! This early van Damme movie delivers it all (unlike most of his more recent ones): Great fights with a stunningly energetic choreography and one of the longes training-sequences ever to be seen in a movie. Especially the final fight agains evil Tong Po is a feast for every Martial Arts junkie. Going over almost 12 minutes (beware of the heavily cut german and english versions!) this fight is one of the best, ever satged with van Damme showing all he's got, only that here it's much better filmed than it was in "Bloodsport" for ex. His famous "Splits-kick" can be reviewed in this movie again, too! If only he would be doing this kind of stuff still. END

Whoa! Thanks Bluray!
Ive always loved VanDamme movies, but in HD they're even better. I really didnt expect much from this bluray version, but when i put it in to watch, my jaw dropped. It is so clear!

Most likely, you have already seen this movie and you just want to know how the bluray quality is. This movie is better with bluray because the setting in bangkok is full of art and nature, and it really shows thru in this movie. Closeups are super sharp.

there are one or two scenes where the master video wasn't best quality...like the first hospital scene, you can see the pops and dirt on the film... this problem must have been unavoidable...

Finally, buy this bluray!

Gilmore Girls: The Complete Second Season

The Gilmore Girls are back for a second season of fun
The second season of "Gilmore Girls" is when a lot of things did not happen to Lorelai Gilmore. It started with Lorelai not marrying Max ("Red Light on the Wedding Night") and ended with her not marrying Christopher ("I Can't Get Started"), but Sookie got married so at least there was some progress in that area, although the duo's plan to open an inn together hits a major roadblock ("The Ins and Outs of Inns"). Of course, the most important thing that did not happen to Lorelai was that she manages to really notice Luke despite the fact he is pretty much there in front of her every morning at the diner. Clearly the creators of "Gilmore Girls" remember what happened to "Moonlighting" once Dave and Maddie stopped bantering and started kissing and other things, so the agenda is to put off the inevitable for as long as possible. So even if it is obvious to everyone else in Stars Hollow (to wit, Emily), does not mean that Lorelai has a clue.

As for Rory, her junior year at...

What a great season
This was such a great season for Gilmore Girls... But this isnt a review I noticed the page for this item is seriously lacking in the information department so here is what I know.

Gilmore Girls Second Season DVD
Ah, what to say about Gilmore Girls. Well I could gloat that this is "LIKE THE BEST SHOW EVER", but that would be childish. I could say it's changed my world, but then I'd be obsessive. I could, however, mention the way it puts a smile on my face whenever I watch it and luckily for me, that only sounds borderline crazy. Gilmore Girls is truly a magnificent show. It is smart, sophisticated, sweet, wholesome, crazy, and wildly entertaining. If you're not up to date with the Gilmore craze, it goes a little something like this. The show follows Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory in their very small Connecticut town of Stars Hollow. The two are virtually insepearable and have an incredibly strong bond. Because Lorelai gave birth to Rory when she was only 16, they share a connection that leans more towards best friends than mother and daughter. They are both extremely witty, intelligent women who must survive the world one step at a time, all in the midst of their crazy town, where...

Burn Notice: Season Two

An amazing season, better than the first and well worth your time and money!
The writing for the first season of Burn Notice was excellent, very tight with interesting characters and situations. However, towards the end, a lot of fans were worried. Some of the helpless clients of the week were starting to feel a touch repetitive.

We needn't have worried.

The second season just finished, and I can assure you that the writing is even better, the characters stronger, and many of the story lines more compelling, than in the first season. It's no wonder the show has doubled its viewing audience. I particularly like how the characters have evolved. Michael has dealt with some of his family issues, gotten closer to his brother, and understands that his mother really does care about him--even if that's easier to take when she's not blowing cigarette smoke (literally) in his face. The bad guys are organized and smart, which means he have to be even smarter. It's good story telling.

However, even with all the other positives that made me...

Dry, Educating, and lots of fun!
Mike, Fiona, and Sam are an outstanding group who are always getting into more trouble than they bargained for, yet somehow manage to make their way through the various encounters with a grin and a chuckle.

Quote from Wanted Man:
Sam: Mike, I gotta tell ya, this is more fun than I expected.
I mean, I haven't done this sort of thing since... Gee, since there was an East Germany.
Mike: Glad you're enjoying yourself.
Sam: So how are things at home?
Mike: A little strange. Fiona likes to test relationships with the emotional equivalent of artillery fire.
Sam: Does she even want this guy?
Mike: I don't know, I've never been able to figure her out.
Sam: Well, I'm not one to tell you how to live your life.

I'm a real fan of dry humor, though I can never pull it off. The only time people laugh at me is when I'm being serious. My jokes- when I try to be funny -all fall flat- and nobody can tell when I'm serious or just kidding. My...

My new favorite show
I did not start watching this show until after the 1st season aired. I will admit that the concept sounded kind of stupid, but was urged by a friend to watch the 1st season that had come out on DVD. I was instantly addicted and watched the entire 1st season in 1 day (only 9 episodes). I couldn't wait for season 2 and it did not dissapoint. Here is a tired idea that is made fresh and original with great writing, direction, and great performances from the cast. Jeffrey Donavan, Gabrielle Anwar, and Bruce Campbell really are what make this show great. I love the dry wit and interesting spy facts that are shared, all over a compelling storyline. The main storyline behind the show (who burned Michael and why) is still a mystery after 2 seasons, but you don't get frustrated that the story is going no where. The show focuses on what Michael is doing now, taking whatever jobs he can get for whatever pay they can afford, and that keeps the show going for the most part. I highly...

My Breakfast with Blassie

A true classic for Kaufman fans
If you are prepared for a low-budget, high nonsense movie, you'll love My Breakfast with Blassie. The movie seems either very spontaneous or highly disorganized. Whatever the case is, it is a slow starter. Those who are not intrigued with Kaufman may get a little restless, but those who are patient will really enjoy this little bit that has been put together. I laughed my tail off, and my girlfriend (who is not a huge Kaufman fan) found it humorous.

So funny it is stupid!
At first you will be scratching your head asking yourself......"What the heck is this?" By the end of the movie you will be laughing like a madman and be telling yourself....."now I get it." Die-hard Andy fans will love it. Any wrestling fan who knows Freddie Blassie will love it. This movie has no point, not reason for being made, and no plot. It is just two guys sitting down shooting the bull about absolutely nothing. And it keeps you captivated.

Hilarious spoof of MY DINNER WITH ANDRE
The film "My Dinner with Andre," is made up almost entirely of a highly intellectual dinner conversation between two old acquaintances at an upscale restaurant on Manhattan's Upper West Side. So here, Andy Kaufman made a film about an anti-intellectual breakfast conversation between former pro-wrestler/wrestling manager Freddie Blassie and himself, at a very downscale pancake house in Los Angeles.

We are treated to Kaufman and Blassie discussing things like their aversion to shaking peoples' hands: Blassie notes that the person extending his hand could have just been wiping himself "and their finger could have gone through the toilet paper."

Kaufman and Blassie are being served breakfast by a very pregnant Thai waitress. Blassie rubs her belly, talking friendly to her and telling her it's for good luck. Then, after she walks away, he tells Kaufman, "Now we don't have to tip her so much." Later on in the film, he rubs her belly again, and then, after she walks...

Extreme Ice

A truly frightening video produced by courageous people
This is a truly frightening video. I saw it on PBS. It shows the actual melting of ice on both the northern and southern ends of our planet. The people who made this film truly had courage. There is an element of horror watching a man lower himself into a giant hole in the ice hundreds of feet deep. The footage from Greenland was particularly disturbing, showing how holes in the ice are now opening up inland as the ice melts and water pours from under the ice to the sea. The staff of this show deserves a lot of credit for the courage they showed in going out and getting this footage for us.

Our Ice "in extremis"
This recent documentary has many aspects to recommend it. For one thing, the film footage is beautiful and breathtaking. For another, the film's message is extremely urgent: the effect of today's global warming specifically on the world's ice.

In a nice personal touch, the film follows one particular athlete-photographer as he travels the world to shoot footage of "extreme ice." The title makes it sound like some extreme sport, and indeed it is for him, as he performs daring feats in his noble quest to photograph the "inside story" of global warming processes.

For example, the documentary features close-up footage of bright blue rivers of meltwater racing over Greenland's glaciers under the summer sun. The rivers are absolutely gorgeous. But then we see their horrible fate, as they plunge into gaping holes in the glacial surface and tumble into seemingly bottomless caverns. The photographer actually dangles down into one of them, trying in vain to see any...

Seeing is believing
The combination of art and science is powerful in portraying the most important phenomena of our time, the disappearance of the arctic ice, the canary in the global warming coal mine. The art is grand. The science validates the story. Together they make a gripping drama that today seems far away but in reality is on a fast track to tarnish and threaten our lives.

The FBI Files is a show describing actual FBI cases, with dramatic reenactments and interviews with agents and forensic scientists who worked in the investigations. If you enjoy watching shows like Forensic Files, Dateline NBC, 48 Hours Mysteries or Unsolved Mysteries then you'll enjoy watching this show.

Season 3 features 18 investigations. Each episode is 45 minutes long.

Great show on investigative procedure!
This series combines dramatic action, forensic science, and interviews with the FBI agents & local authorities who actual solved these cases and brought the bad guys to justice.
Cases in this season include: serial killers Darren O'Neal, Robert Rhodes, & Tim Ring, the bizarre Ben Yahweh cult killers, charismatic bank robber 'Hollywood' Scurlock, politician-turned-killer Thomas Capano, the violent Preacher Crew gang, and the heart-wrenching episode 'The Predator' (perhaps the best of the series & something every parent should see) which will stay with you long after the credits have rolled.

The FBI Files: Season 3
All FBI Seasons 1,2 &3, along with all Cold Case Files, 48 Hours, New Detectives, are the best action money can by in my opinion. The only differences are the way these great DVDs explain, investigate current case and cold, old case files. All are very informative and hold your attention with ease. The best way to purchase is the bundle package which only Amazon offers to there customers saving you $$ and shipping fees, if any, when purchased through the Amazon Warehouse. Still you are receiving a great deal with super saver shipping with $25.00 or more which will bring your ship fee to ZERO !!. I do not work for Amazon. Gilmore Girls: The Complete Fourth Season

Growing Pains
There was much talk and debate over Gilmore Girls' fourth season. Some thought it was great and that it was one of their best seasons. Others thought that it had a lot of good stuff, but had problems and was, quite easily, it's weakest season. I can't say that it's a bad season, because it's not. The second half contains some truly great episodes, but season four was a disjointed disappointment. The show went through a transition this year, and shows that go through a certain 'growing up' phase do have some problems. They usually don't go through it unscathed. Season four of GG is no exception. Rory leaves home and Stars Hollow and goes off to live in her dorm at Yale. This leaves a new, and awkward, dynamic between mother and daughter and the show. The relationship between the two was a major factor of the series, and the fact that they spoke to one another on cell phones more than anything else it seemed was also a component that didn't add to the season. They added in the character...

THIS SHOW IS ONE OF THE BEST ON TELIVISION
Although reviewers were quick to criticize season four, no one will deny that the last few episodes of the season were some of the best the show has ever brought forth.

Season four brings Lorelei and Rory to a new place in their relationship. Rory moves out of the house and into the dorms, and Lorelei struggles with the realities of bringing her life-long dream of owning an inn to fruition. Through phone conversations and Friday night dinners the girls struggle to keep their relationship as close as it once was. Dean reappears as a married man, Luke is as funny and endearing as ever, and the elder Gilmores struggle to adjust to changes in their marriage. Digger and the lawyer prove amusing distractions to the real love story, which finally reaches its beginning in a satisfying scene outside the Dragonfly. And lets not forget about the final scene, which left everyone in shock - because when Rory messes up - she messes up big.

This collection is a must have for...

One of TV's best shows...
Nominated for 1 Emmy and 1 Golden Globe in its first five seasons, Gilmore Girls has experienced much greater success among TV viewers than among industry critics. In fact, the show is the first script supported by the Family Friendly Forum's script development fund to go on and become a regular television series. Part of an initiative between The WB Network - maker of such hits as Dawson's Creek (1998), Felicity (1998), Angel (1999), and Smallville (2001) - and fellow industry executives, this push for more family-oriented programming resulted in a series showcasing a unique mother-daughter bond and the various people they encounter on their life voyage of discovery. Set in the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut, Gilmore Girls utilizes many of the same sets as the hit series The Dukes Of Hazzard (1979) - another successful Warner Brothers production from years past...

One Tree Hill: The Complete First Season (Repackage)

Welcome to Tree Hill
When I originally heard about the show "One Tree Hill" I couldn't help but think that it was going to be nothing more than a rip-off of "Dawson's Creek" which was one of the WB highest rated shows (and ended it's 6 year run 4 month before "one tree hill" premiered). But as a fan of the WB I tuned into the Pilot of the show. And the Pilot was bad, but it showed potential so I continued to watch the show and after about 8/9 rocky episodes, the show finally found it's footing and starting slowly to becoming one of my favorite shows on the air.

The show is about two brothers who grew up in the small town of tree hill and yet they barely know each other. Luke, who along with his mother was abandoned by his father before he was born, is the outsider; while Nate, who his father considers to be his only son, grew up to become one of the popular kids in school. But when Luke join's Nate's Basketball team, the two brothers beging to breakdown the years of walls their father has...

wonderful show, wonderful people, wonderful story
When I first heard about One Tree Hill, I was intrigued because I had heard of Chad Michael Murray, and I really wanted to see if the show was worth watching. It was. The Pilot was... well bad. No point denying it, but like someone else said, I saw potential, I saw a show that had a heart, I saw characters that were interseting and could be explored, and wasn't just about who was slept with who one week after another. I know that it has constantly has been compared with both Dawson's Creek and The O.C., and I for one don't find it even on the same level as either, much less worse than them. I never got into DC. O.C.... well, OC is entertaining, but at the end of the day, I can't relate to any of the characters like I can relate to the ones on this show. OC is so completely unrealistic, and lack of heart and soul is seriously killing it.

One Tree Hill is about two half-brothers, Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan (James Lafferty), who share the same father, Dan (Paul...

Great idea by the WB
I had seen a couple of episodes of One Tree Hill, but never really got into it. Then while on one trip, my sister had this so I decided to watch it to pass the time on the road, and boy did I get hooked. This is by far my favorite show on t.v. It is very entertaining and I just had to watch episode after episode. I found myself finishing one episode and going right to the next. I could not get enough of this show. I definately recommend this for any OTH fans or anyone that wants to get into this show. This is a GREAT buy!
